The best pichi pichi in town!

I am not kidding when I say that Amber's pichi pichi is the best pichi pichi in town. It's the most delicious pichi pichi I've ever tasted in my entire life. There's no exaggeration with that. I swear! :) I'm a sweetmeats lover so you can trust my word on this one! Oh, how I love Amber!♥ You gotta try their pancit malabon and pichi pichi. :)

I bought 20 pieces pichi pichi for Php 200 last time I passed by Amber's Tomas Morato branch. :) Their packaging is so handy and I love their shops' color--red and yellow! :)

Pichi pichi with cheese
Actually, you can choose from cheese or coconut shavings. Both tastes lovely! I just felt to get the cheese topping that day. :) Oh, and in case you don't know, a pichi pichi is a gelatinous dessert made from grated cassava and sugar from the Philippines. DEFINITION SOURCE

XOXO, Foodie Girl ♥

Last October 25, my cousin Iris and I, went to Global Academy Makati branch for my internship placement, it's located at Jupiter St. Belair, Makati City and so we had lunch somewhere we both haven't eaten yet and we decided to try this chinese restaurant named XO Kitchen.☺

Their menu. :)
The foods are actually cheap, it ranges from 100 to 300 bucks and there's no service charge added on your final bill.☺

We ordered their rice meal and it's already equipped with a drink. There are only 2 choices for drinks though, lemonade or iced tea.☺

Spareribs with Special Sauce Meal for Php 120.00
If you're not fond of anything spicy, don't order this one. It's kind a spicy but I like it anyhow. It's a little too sweet though and under seasoned with salt and pepper. Other than that, it's A-okay!☺

Porkchop Rice for Php 120.00
This is a pretty huge serving and the porkchop is actually infused with herbs. I like that touch, it's surprising in a good way and they had their own mark on a simple meal like this one.☺

Spicy String Beans for Php 120.00
This is a little downer because it isn't spicy at all and it's so oily though I like that it is cooked well and the garlic flavor isn't too much when you bite into it.☺

Lazy Sunday.

Last Sunday, October 23, I together with my cousin Ressa ran some errands around Cubao area then we decided to have some BBB or also known as Big Better Burgers. :)

Condiments: Mustard & Ketchup with their design for their tables for Halloween. :)
I'm actually a mustard, ketchup and hot sauce fan so it's nice not to ask for anything anymore, that when you get seated it's already available in your table. If you know what I mean. :)

Big Better Burger Value Meal (1/3 patty)
It's cheap, around 150 bucks for the whole meat, and good enough if you're craving for a grilled cheese burger. My cousin chose this and the cheese burger came along with fries and an iced tea. It's a pretty good order in my opinion. :)

Skin on Fries
I ordered an add on fries because I personally like eating my burger hand in hand with fries. I know it's a lot of carbs for a meal but how can you resist something that tastes real good? :p This particular add on costs 50 bucks. :)

Bacon Barbecue Burger
My order, just to try it out then I liked it! Their barbecue sauce is savory and not too sweet, just enough for my taste buds. As far as I can remember, it's also not expensive. It ranges from 130 to 150 bucks.

The only thing I dread with this burger is the bacon. I specifically want my bacon well done and everything else is delicioso. :D

DQ's Oreo Blizzard
After walking around, we end up buying Oreo Blizzard, this one is an all time favorite of a lot of people I know. Dairy Queen has won a lot of Filipinos' hearts. The small one costs 69 bucks while the bigger one is 79 bucks. :)

DQ Sandwich
This one is my current obsession. I love it so much I can eat it everyday, every after meal! :p And it's also cheap, it only costs 39 bucks. It's definitely a cheap thrill and a great catch! :)

Ratatouille Cake! :)

When I went to Hofex last May, this has been my personal favorite from the cakes I've seen all through out the convention. I loved it because I so love the movie Ratatouille and it's just too good to be true especially seeing it in person. :)

It's so detailed, I can't imagine for how long they've made it! I'm really so impressed that I'm actually speechless! :)

These photos are not giving enough credit, I swear! This cake, for me, was worth going to HK for! The experience was really wonderful and memorable! :)

Can you spot those little croissants? And those little utensils? :)

Look at Remy sitting on a cheese and wearing a toque. Aaw, too cute! :p

Colette and Linguini!♥

It's a custom made wedding cake inspired by the movie Ratatouille by Disney films. :)

A good break from food porn. :)

I have been into old films these past few days. I find it appealing in some weird way. There's no really intimate parts in the movie but it isn't also as conservative as you think though the farthest thing they do is kissing. I'm amazed because in the movies recently shown, making love is like a normal thing to be seen and worst there are some stories that are made revolving around it. While I observed about the old films, there are tons of things worth tackling rather than sex like their personalities, their fate, their jobs, their family, their experiences. I can go on and on! Anyway, here are the movies I've watched. 2 of which are old film & 3 are just recent ones. I promise, as much as I can, not to spoil anything. :)

This is a little timely because it actually happened in Christmas-New Year's time. It's a good story, you'll never figure out what will happen, well as for me, I never did. :)

Ever since I've watched Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany's I fell head over heels in love with her. She's so pretty, poised, and regal all at the same time. She's my ultimate favorite actress. No one can take that away from her. I love this movie though not as much as I love Breakfast at Tiffany's. :)

After watching this film, I suddenly thought of my own Mr. Darcy. I wanna meet him. I wanna be with him! Pride and prejudice set the standard a little higher. Before I only want a man who will marry me where my parents got married(Landon of A Walk To Remember), who will build me a house(Noah of The Notebook), who will help me move on after he's gone(Gerry of P.S. I Love You, now I want someone who will save me from the mess I'm in and not mind about the society just to be with me. *sigh* Yes, I'm really a hopeless romantic. :)

This got a simple story out of this 5 movies in this list but it's still a good watch. The story is about the title of the movie--love, wedding, marriage and is revolving around 2 married couples. That's all I can say because spilling a little might spoil the whole movie, so you better watch it yourself! :)

And this is the only film I've watched over the cinema with my 2 high school friends. I love it! And I'm sure everyone will also love it! From the kids to the teens and the adults, I swear! It has a touching story about father and son and a cool story about fighting. Fighting for your dream, fighting over your fears, fighting for yourself. Watch it! :)

Double C! Cozy & Cheap! :)

We tried eating in this famous restaurant in Marikina called Pan De Amerikana. We have known the said restaurant by its branch in White Plains that showcases an upside down roof and 4x4 car as their design while the Marikina branch is known for its windmill design outside and its human chess board inside the restaurant. :)

Greetings from me from the entrance of the restau! :)

We arrived late because we waited for my big sis' out from the office first. Well not really late but the establishment's closing time is 7pm and we arrived at 6pm-ish. :)

A pose from the stage! The pillars reminds me of the Cleopatra era. I love it! The vibes of the place radiates unto you. It can instantly make you happy even just for a while. It's a good place to go to if you need a break from the city life! :)

With a good friend, Dianne posing with the knights. :) Anyway, where the hell are our knights in real life?! :))

The place is service charge free because it's self service. :) We actually took most of our photos before our food arrive, after we ordered at the counter. This is a pose with the windmill near our table. :)

There's a tree house but it closes at 5pm so we weren't able to see what's in it. Sayang! I love tree houses so this is a post on the stairs beside the trunk! :)

A pose in the hammock or duyan as we usually call it here in the Ph. :)

Myself, Dianne, and my cousin Iris. :) You can check their blogs out by clicking on their names. :)

With the king & queen. :) I'm the princess, where's my prince then? lol.

The number is so cute! It's a pawn! The 42nd pawn with our drinks, mango shake. :)

Pan de Amerikana is famous with their pandesal. :)

Our rice and our viands, they all tasted fine. Nothing special but it's all okay. The prices are cheap so I don't think I have the right to expect something brilliant when I only paid for a couple of bucks. It isn't crappy so I can honestly say that it's still a good eat for you to try. And I still want to come back so you can take my word for that! :)

We all had a happy tummy after our dinner. :) Nins, Aissa, Alyssa, Dianne & Iris. :)

I'm not gonna stop exploring good food finds, not until I'm done with all of it and as we all know, we have tons here in Manila, so expect that this blog will be updated for good. :)

Unplanned!☺

Last October 18, I received a morning text from a friend asking if I have a planned something for that day and I replied I have none then she asked me to go to Galleria for some foodtrip and to visit our friend who is currently having a booth there for their feasibility study. I'm really good at being spontaneous because we end up in Galleria after a few hours after our texting brigade. :)

Here I am, with my good friend--Jade.♥
If you happen to be in Robinson's Galleria one of these days, kindly try Fish Tayo located at MC's Entrepinay booth in the said establishment. It's on until October 30. :)

With Krizel, one of the owners of Fish Tayo. She's also a good friend from high school. :)

Bestfriends since high school, Jade and Kriz. Love 'em both and I so missed being with these two girls so much! :)

Maybe our random day together pushed through because we are all eager to see each other again, for some catching up. I can't remember when's the last time I've been with these two but every time I'm with them, I feel so safe and secure. High school friends can really make you feel that! :)

We had dinner at Bonchon, it was my first time to try to eat there and I like it! The chicken is so flavorful, craaaaazy crispy and affordable! It's a gooood catch! :)
