Oishii!

Last June 11, my family and I went to visit Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in Antipolo City, and right after we decided to head to Gateway for early dinner. Sumosam in Gateway just open a month or two ago so we ended up eating there. It was my 2nd time to eat in Sumosam and so far, my experiences can be sum up into great service meets good food! ☺

Chicken Teriyaki
My not so baby brother ordered this. I think it's his favorite. Everytime we eat together in a Japanese restaurant, he always(I mean ALWAYS!) order this one. ☺

Tonkatsu
We ordered this one for my little nephew, and the serving was big for him so we helped him eat it.(Bad habit!) Anyway, it tasted just like your regular tonkatsu but the meat was leaner so it's a perfect tonkatsu for me! ☺

Beef Curry
Ate's beau chose this and he said it's good. I only wish their veggies were more fresh!

Gyudon
This is so good! So good! I took a bite of this and I fell in love with it instantly but it's Ate's so I tried my best not to take it from her. :p

Vegetable Ramen
Nanay picked this because she's not feeling too well that time. This tasted good but the downside was it's not piping hot when it was served so after only a while, it already is too cold for a ramen treat. Sad.

Rib eye
Don't judge me! I can't help it. I am and I will forever be a steak-girl. I think I'll never be a salad-girl(no offense meant!), I'm merely being myself! I love love love steaks! It's my comfort food. It's the main entree made perfectly for me. Not only my tummy but my whole being was really happy after eating this. ☺

Back to School

I'm gonna go to school once again. TODAY! This time, I'm targeting a bachelor's degree that'd help me big time on my pastry shop goal in the near future. Anyhow, I've been busy these past few days lazing around the house because I know I would not be able to do it anytime soon this semester. Wish me luck! ♥

Thursday, Friday's!

Last Thursday, my Ate's friend(and had been mine too) treated us for a lovely dinner at T.G.I.Friday's because he's back in town for a week long vacay from working in Sg. He's so sweet he made time for us during his short trip here in Manila. I can honestly say that great people are hard to find so we gotta keep them, forever.☺

Anyway, here's what we ate. Thanks to my Instagram for it! :p

Jack Daniel's Salmon for Carlo, I tasted this one and it's so good I wanna grab Carlo's plate and eat it all. Well, we all know that salmons are heaven on earth but Friday's Whipped Potato is crazy good too so this one's a perfect order!☺

Mushroom Chicken & Mushrooms for Jiggy("treat-er"), I wasn't able to taste this dish because Jiggy was seated far from me but I think it tasted good because he finished it all, to think that Friday's portions are American size. :p

Jack Daniel's Pork Chop for Niño(Ate's bf), this one is okay. Nothing special and nothing off flavor, it's just okay.

Spicy New Orleans for Ate, this dish lacks flavor. It would taste way better if the flavor is stronger, the "spicy-ness" was already good but the flavor needs a little more push(if you know what I mean). Maybe mere salt & pepper could make a difference! ☺

Filipino Pork Liempo is my very own order, I didn't regret choosing this because it's good. It's a safe order but I love it nonetheless! Its meat is soft enough, you know it's cooked just right. ☺

After eating at Friday's, we went to Caffecino by Dome to wait for their other friends and to talk about stuff, so we ordered something sweet even though we're already full(sorry God for gluttony!).

Devil Food's Cake

Chocolate Cake

The cakes are chocolate-y moist but their icing are a little too grainy. I think it would be better if it were seamlessly smooth. ☺

That night had been full of stories and laughter. There's never a dull moment when you're with your true friends. The people that tells you the truth, the people that knows your imperfections and accepts you nevertheless. ♥

Random Thoughts 1

This particular blog post is some kind of a catching up and ramblings I wanna share. Please bear with me. ☺

I am perfectly aware that I've been for the nth time missing in action here in my blog. I'm currently busy with reading books(I'm on my 13th book for this year!), watching movies(old downloaded ones), hanging out and having a sleepover with my cousins(summer must do for me), and sometimes, very often times, seldom times, I go out. I know, my life's boring, lame and whatnot but I'm by far happy... in a way. In some ways.

Anyway, I just learned yesterday that Nicki 'dope' Minaj is having a concert here in Manila this year! Woohoo! I'm so excited and I'm so nervous at the same time. I'm sort of expecting the ticket prices to be sky high and will make me faint but I'm still kind of hoping for some miracle. And Manila's concert scene is simply getting better as the days pass by. Snow Patrol and Jennifer Lopez is also having a concert here! How cool is that, huh? Times like this, how I wish I'm a rich kid that in a snap of a finger I can buy a concert ticket or much better an airplane ticket. Okay, I'm privileged enough to be experiencing good life but sometimes I just wonder how it feels to live that rich(if you know what I mean by THAT).

Moving on, do you know that The Perks of Being A Wallflower's trailer is out today? I love Logan Lerman, he's charming! And I loved the book! I really enjoyed reading it. ☺

From a movie, I'm jumping on a series I come to love, I am so excited for Pretty Little Liars tomorrow! I know it will just get better. ☺ Hmm.. From a happy note to a not so happy one, I'm saddened when CW released that Gossip Girl will have its last season already. I expected them to atleast reach season 8, 9 or even 10 just like some other series that has great following. I really do get attach by the things I watch or the books I read that I'm affected by it a lot. Weirdo. I know! :p

From shallow ones to a deeper topic, I'm going back to college! I really didn't stop or anything, I just took a course that's not a bachelor's degree and I've finished it. Now I'm taking a degree because it will help my career in a lot of ways. I'm crossing my fingers on this one but I strongly believe that I can do this with the help from my family and friends.  ♥
