Love can stand the test of time.

DISCLAIMER: The photo was copied from Google. ☺

Before I sleep, I really just have to blog about this movie I just finished watching about a couple of minutes ago. The movie is indeed brilliant! I cried buckets of tears. I swear to God it's a tear jerker. Plus the Philippines has a cameo yet important part in the movie and I find it very endearing.

This is really a must watch movie for hopeless romantics like me or actually it's a must watch for anyone and any age. It's about love and waiting and fighting about what you believe is right. Aaaa! I love the movie! I love every bit of it. And I also love Sean Faris, the physical therapist/godson. This movie is officially listed on my all-time-favorite. You have to watch it if you haven't yet! Go! :)

I have to sleep now and dream about my own great love. Chos! :p I've been somewhat ending my recent posts with a quote... so here it is:

Summer Getaways...

First ever destination was on Club Manila East in Taytay, Rizal. I went there together with my paternal cousins/relatives last March 6, 2011. This was my first taste of summer 2011. :)

Judiel, Aissa(my Ate), Ace(younger bro), Mickko & Alyssa(me) with our serious shot. :p

Nins, Ferlie, Fretzie, Judiel, Myself & Ate with our kayaks. :)

No KJ in the group. We all had fun! ♥
The kaboodle at the wave pool. :)
AMDA Sisters.
I really had fun with this bonding time with my paternal cousins & relatives. It was my first time to go to CME and it was quite a good experience though I really am not sure if I'm ever coming back because honestly, I would rather choose Splash Island Resort over CME but that's just my opinion. :)

Second destination was just located in our place--Montalban, Rizal. It was just a 5 minute tricycle or jeepney ride from our home. This is also a famous place in our town because there's this legend that tells, a giant named Bernardo Carpio was stopping 2 colliding mountains from hitting each other because his dog was being trapped in the middle. The story's somewhat like that and Bernardo Carpio's footsteps and hand prints are still visible up to now on the said place. The place I'm talking about in our town is called Wawa, it's a dam but already not functioning. It has stopped years ago so it's open for public. I went there with my maternal cousins and Ate's friends last March 26, 2011. :)

Here's the 2 mountains' back view. :)

It's cold. The water & it's also windy. :)
Coldness can't stop us from enjoying the water. :p

April 18, 2011 - Ressa Angela's 17th birthday. My cousin's birthday was originally planned for a swimming outing at Splash Island Resort but a sudden change of fate so we decided to celebrate it at Picnic Grove, Tagaytay. I have a fever the day before but still I joined the group. I don't wanna miss anything fun. :p We just planned to have a simple picnic and some sight-seeing. When we arrived there, we ate then rest for a while and decided to go and try the zipline..
Ready for flight! :D It was our first time. :)
ARRIVAL!

We got bored at Picnic Grove so we decided to go to EK! Where the magic stays with you! :)
I LOVE SPONTANEITY! That's SO me. :p

Kiyomi, Myself(I don't know why I'm facing the other side), Drix, Ressa, Joanne, Dianne, Ace :)

I'm currently resting because when I got home last night from this trip, I had a recurrence of my fever. But now I'm already feeling better, maybe a little more rest and some more meds and I'm all good for another getaway. :p Oh, how I wish! Haha. I watched Gossip Girl's latest episode a while ago and a line was stuck on my mind. So, I'm gonna end this post with that line, don't worry it's related. :)

A closer step in achieving my dreams. ♥

Just last week, I already, unofficially, finished my Culinary Arts course. Unofficially because I still have to undergo the on-the-job-training first for me to march and get my diploma. :) But, it's a good sign that I've finished the course with no failure, right? :p I had some low grades, yes, but I really didn't fail the major grades. It's kinda hard to explain, but in the end I passed, period. YEHEY! :)
With some of my classmates. :)
Avin Abrenica & Alyssa Alejandro & Rose Antalan
I am the happiest that I've passed because I've been really stressed about our comprehensive final exam, we cooked a 3 course meal in a span of 2 hours plus a written exam. I got 82 over 100 for the laboratory then 91 over 100 for the written exam. I am SO contented and happy with my grades because I know in my heart that I really did my best. :)

Myself with my Double Baked Potatoes, Glazed Asparagus & Medium Rare Grilled Beef Shank :)
This was actually a stolen shot while Chef Brando Santos was re-arranging or fixing my plating. :)
I am now studying Baking & Pastry in the same school. I just started last monday, April 11, 2011 and I'm so excited for the upcoming days. There's something about cakes and pastries that I really do love. Sweetness really is my weakness! :)

Batch 10 of GCHA Timog with Chef Brando Santos ♥
I hope to be successful in the field I chose. May the force be with me! :)
I'm crossing my fingers with my plans in the near future. Wish me all the luck in the world! I know and I believe that I can do this, sometimes I just need a little push! :p Go Alyssa!! And I'm gonna end this blog post with my favorite line of all time about dreams or plans. :)

I'm SO back! :)

It has been almost a month or so and I really missed blogging. I decided to go back into the blogging world because firstly, I don't have anything much to do this coming days and secondly, I realized that sharing some things makes the load lighter to carry. :)

The latest things about me: (I'm gonna tackle each in several posts.)

1. I'm done with my Culinary Arts classes and exams, I'm now taking up Baking & Pastry. Woo hoo!

2. I have just re-colored my hair brown-ish. Will post a decent photo in one of my following post. :)

3. I am going to HK on May with my friends/classmates. Yehey!!! I am extremely excited!!!

4. There's this matter that I don't know how to solve but I'm really looking forward to get over and done with it soon. POSITIVITY! :)

Love,
