Sugarcane Juice

It isn't as sweet as I expected it to be that's why I love it soooo much!☺

Fried rice using arborio rice. It's the one used in rice pilaf.☺

Stir-fried Kangkong

This has a spicy hint that makes it alluring to eat. Kangkong or also known as water spinach is cooked just right that it still has the proper crisp when you bite into it.☺

Beef with oyster sauce

I can eat all of this in one sitting. That's a cue on how it tastes like! I don't know how it's really called, one thing I know for sure--that it's beef. :p

Chicken something something (Haha!)

I also don't know this dish's name but it's also a good pick. It has a right hint of sweetness and the chicken is really tender.☺

Ya Kun Kaya Toast ☺

Tried Ya Kun Kaya Toast in DigitaLife Mall in Sg. I know we have YKKT here in Manila but when we were waiting for Ate's friend's out, we decided to eat kaya toasts.☺

Iced Milo ☺

There's nothing to say about this drink, it's merely an iced milo. :D

Kaya toast with butter and Kaya toast with peanut.☺

I love love love kaya toast! I can eat it every morning of every day! I love it as much as I love Kopi Roti's kopi bun.☺

Soft boiled egg.☺

It's perfect to eat kaya toast with this one. It's not yucky, I swear! It tastes so good you'll end up having another round of kaya toast and soft boiled egg.☺

Chinatown Singapore!☺

Ate and I bought our pasalubongs in Chinatown with Tita Gigi and Iñigo. They treated us for lunch there. I don't know what the place is called but it's along the street on the right when you're coming from the train station.☺

I will always be a rice baby. I love potatoes, I love pasta but my life wouldn't be complete without this.☺ 

Cereal prawns.

This is really good. You can eat the shrimp with skin on and the cereal gives a sweet flavor that compliments the prawns greatly.☺

Roasted chicken.

This is a normal roasted chicken, nothing special though I love the chili sauce very much. It gives the right amount of spicy flavor and I love love love the chips! I don't know what chips it is but it really tastes good.☺

Prawn with egg noodles.

I don't know how this is called, I just made the name above. :D This tastes so good! I also love this dish!☺

Iñigo, Aissa & Alyssa at Chinatown Sg.♥

There were tons of foreigners eating there so I really think that place is a good place to eat at. Thank you Tita GIgi and Iñigo for the treat!☺

Aston's Specialties

Ate's two good friends are now working in Sg and we meet them to catch up and for them to treat us for dinner. Haha! :p They decided to treat us at Aston's because they say it's their favorite food place in Sg.☺

Black Pepper Fish

I asked for a fish dish because I wanted to have a light dinner. But this is not so light after all! It has Garden Veggie and Baked Potato. The fish tastes so good, I love it! The black pepper sauce is really good and it complimented the cream dory very well! I love their suggestion on me. I liked it very much!☺

Hickory BBQ Chicken with Baked potato and Tasty RIce

I was not able to taste any dish besides mine because I was so busy enjoying my dish, I almost forgot to take a photo that's why this is already eaten.☺

I always wanted to eat at Chili's here in Tomas Morato but it's always not meant to be due to a lot of reasons. But God has a great way in fulfilling our wants, after spending the whole day at Universal Studios Sg, Ate and I was so hungry that we end up eating at Chili's located laying around near USS's entrance.☺

I was so happy because it's a 'want' come true! :p It's not a dream because it's just a simple restaurant, a dream would be eating at El Bulli or Noma. Got my point? :D

Guiltless tomato basil pasta.☺

This one is just fine, I love the chicken breast! It's so tender you'll love it! What I didn't like the most in this dish is it's tomato sauce, I know it can be better. A hint of spice like paprika would be good or a little more pepper would do great.☺

Quesadilla explosion.☺

This is so good I should've ordered this alone! I love this one to bits! It's perfection. This is my favorite salad everrr!☺

Southern smokehouse bacon big mouth burger.☺

And this burger is love. This is the real grilled burger. No competition. I love love love it! It's Ate's order but I tasted it and then and there, I wanna finish it all! Haha. It tastes so good I'm planning on eating at Chili's Morato one of these days. And have I mentioned they serve huge servings? Ate and I didn't finish all of our orders because we're already so full!☺

Ate!☺ We're so close we can talk about everything and anything. We know each other too well! We may sometimes be mad at each other but it doesn't last long, a few hours then we're as close as nothing happened again.☺

This blog makes me happy. It's like sharing a part of myself to the world. Sharing my thoughts is like stress reliever in this crazy world. I always say this is my online diary minus the drama of my life. I hope you enjoy my food escapades or I hope you learn in my life experiences that can help you in one way or another. USS food.☺

The main reason why we went to Sg is to go to Universal Studios because my father and my brother already went there last May '11, just for fairness' sake. To showcase that there's no favoritism. Haha! And here are the foods Ate and I ate while we're in USS. We ate at USS's food place.☺

I only had water for my drink because I have colds the entire time we were in Sg.. I forgot to take a photo of Ate's drink, but it's iced Milo.☺ The small white-ish in the container is a soya gelatin something. It's only free that's why I didn't bother asking what it's called. Haha!

Laksa noodle. It's crazy spicy but tastes delish! It has shrimp, squid, egg, tofu and coconut milk.☺

Fried chicken.☺

They call this chicken rice. I wasn't able to taste this but Ate finish it all so maybe it's delish too or maybe she's just too hungry. Which is which? Haha!☺

I don't know what this is called but it belongs to my laksa and it's spicy too.☺

For the following posts after this, I'm gonna blog about the foods we ate in Sg. I hope I can google the exact names of the foods and the places. Wish me luck and happy reading!☺

There's just a lot of world to see..

Before checking our baggage in. Singapore bound to go to Universal Studios and visit a relative and some friends.☺

It's a must! A photo with the USS' globe just outside the entrance. I recommend buying the tickets online because the line were crazy long especially at peak season. We bought the ticket online and we just had to line up on a short one.☺

How insane is this? Seeing John Lloyd Cruz and Vhong Navarro on Universal Studios. 365 days a year and they happened to be on USS on the same day we did. It's fate!! :p I was so busy screaming "I love you John Lloyd" that's why this is the only photo I took. I was such a fan girl.☺

Marilyn Monroe. She's the only character we had a photo with. The lines were long and lining up is time consuming that's why we just passed by them.☺

I just have to have a photo with hottie Vhong!♥ I didn't get to have a photo with JLC because he's in the other side of the "street". I really like John Lloyd but I gotta admit that Vhong is so much hotter and more gorgeous than JLC.☺

The line at the Transformer ride was craaayzaaaay but so worth it! I love it! It's my favorite ride everrrr!☺

We only stayed at Sg for 2 days and a half. Yes, it's brief yet fun!☺ Went to Chinatown to buy pasalubongs and to eat too.☺

At Palawan beach in Sentosa's beach station. It's free to go there! Coool right?☺

There are tons of things to do in Sentosa and there are also free stuff to go to. I love Sentosa!☺

Haha! Yes, I love making faces. :p

Sky ride! We tried the Luge and it's hell awesome but I didn't bought the photo because I looked like crap in it! I don't wanna buy a photo that showcases a crap-looking-Alyssa but I really enjoyed the Luge. I love land adventures like that.☺

We also went inside Daddy Merlion in Sentosa. We're in his mouth in this photo. Spot Daddy Merlion's teeth! :D

We also tried the Sg flyer! At night! The view was breath-taking! I can't say it's worth our money because it's expensive but it's nice to experience it when touring Sg. I heard it's the biggest Ferris wheel in Asia or in the world? Something like that! Haha!

I told you the view was amaaayziiing!☺

Went shopping at Changi City Point. Bought tons of stuff at low prices! Gotta love Sg! I wanna be back next year with a credit card in hand! Then I'm gonna play a game--swipe swipe and away. :p

Step it up!☺

I personally think, airline companies should step it up when it comes to their meal services. It's just so frustrating especially when you paid for it. 

Mineral water and Ham & mozzarella sandwich.☺

Cebu Pacific Air does not include the meal on their plane tickets so this one's a purchase while I'm on the aircraft. I just wanna blog about this that's why I bought a sandwich. LOL. I think I'm addicted with my blog! Haha! :p 

As expected, it's bland and a waste of money! I've already tried 3 airline foods which are Philippine Airlines, HongKong Airlines and Cebu Pacific Air. Those three were consistent, they are consistently serving bad food! Haha!

I personally think it's possible to serve good food on the plane, I just don't think why they don't do it. I'm calling all the airline owners, please please please step your food services up! Kindly serve good food with great choice list! It won't hurt your billions.. It would be your passengers' pleasure. The passengers that get you rich. Please do something. Thank you.☺
