Manila is Gaga!

Going back last August 11, 2009, I watched Lady Gaga's The Fame Ball in Manila. And hell, it was really good because she's really a performer. She really can sing, can dance, and can play the piano. I love her to bits! I was so thankful(until now!) to my Ate for giving me a great gift I received on my 18th birthday, 2 patron tix for Lady Gaga!☺

I learned from watching concerts that to truly enjoy it, don't take photos or videos when the concert already started so that you're not gonna miss anything so ever since I realized that I just copy photos or videos from my companions. Haha! I hope they do not get to read this, they might not give me copies anymore. :p

This 1st part right here is just the "front act" and the main performance is nearly coming!☺ But before that, I just wanna tell all the haters and protesters of Lady Gaga a line from a song by Aretha Franklin, "R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Take care, TCB." I'm not gonna argue with them because I respect their opinion but just so they know, I also want them to respect mine. It's my time and money I'm wasting(NOT!) after all. And I'm old enough to filter the things I hear and see. And for the record, Lady Gaga supports equality(which for me is a good thing) and she also does charity work for hiv/aids victims. Peace, Love, Happiness, little monsters! Paws up!☺

Let's Punta!

A few weeks ago, the last day of April to be exact, I together with my Ate's friends went to Punta Fuego at Nasugbu, Batangas to have our well deserved one day break from everything Manila offers. We went to Peninsula de Punta Fuego and Terraza de Punta Fuego.☺

I love beaches, it soothes my whole being.

Book fetish.

Last year, I challenged myself to read 15 books all throughout 2011 and I lost, I only read if I am not mistaken, 12 books. I have off-reading months then and I think that's why I lost. This year I'm challenging myself further though I lost last year, I'm hoping to read 20 books(or more if possible). So far I already read 10 books and I still have 7 months more to read the remaining 10. I'm really hoping and wishing to finish my goodreads.com reading book challenge!☺

The following books below are the books I've read late 2011 and this 2012, I already omitted The Hunger Games trilogy since I've already blogged about it HERE. This is some kind of a book review minus the spoiling of stuff about the book. Anyway, I'm trying something out, I'm gonna describe my reading experience with each book through how a meat is done: Rare, Medium Rare, Medium Well, or Well done. Seafood Diet!

After enjoying Splash Island last Sunday, we, my companions and I, decided to eat at Dampa Libis. I've actually been there just once because when I was still studying in Manila, we usually go to Dampa Macapagal.☺ 

Anyway, expect for a seafood overload! Dampa is very known for that.☺

I joined going to the wet market at the back part so I can actually take photos and I love to haggle and the vibes of a market is just lovely for me!☺

How's my photography skills? I used my cousin's camera, Nikon D3100.☺

I was kind a disappointed with this baked mussels, I used to love their baked mussels but this time around it seemed to lack cheese and the mussels itself are small and not so fresh.

I love this fried calamaris! Yummeh in my tummeh!☺

I forgot this squid dish but it's kind of sweet and sour-ish type.☺

And I saved the best for last! I so love buttered shrimp! Who doesn't love it anyway?☺

What I love the most about Dampa aside from being a seafood heaven, you can eat your heart's out and not get conscious because everyone who goes there usually set aside their diets first and indulge into an array of yummy seafood.♥
